Welcome to Alabama Scale & Instrument, Inc.'s online store. We are committed to providing excellent customer service satisfaction. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before continuing with your order.

Pricing:

Web site pricing is based on a "cash sale".  Due to our low prices we can't extend credit terms of Net 30 except under the following.

1. You are an existing service customer of Alabama Scale & Instruments, Inc or ASI Calibration Labs and you annual sales exceed $1000 per year.

2. You establish an open credit account with ASI and your single order total exceeds $300.00

Orders:

We welcome orders for shipment to addresses in the U.S., possessions and territories of the U.S.  Orders for shipment outside these areas are subject to additional handling charges, higher shipping rates, and applicable customs, duties and taxes, all of which are the responsibility of the customer.

All international orders must be prepaid in full with U.S. funds, by a cashier's check drawn on a U.S. bank or by wire transfer. Alabama Scale & Instrument, Inc. only accepts credits cards issued by a U.S. bank, and having a billing address in the U.S., for orders shipping to U.S. addresses. Please be aware that many products' warranties do not provide coverage outside the U.S., and some products may not be exported under any circumstances due to manufactures' restrictions or U.S. law.

Alabama Scale & instrument, Inc. makes no representations regarding warranty coverage, compatibility, or serviceability for products that are used outside the U.S.A.  Please contact Alabama Scale & Instrument's Sales Department for rates, restrictions, and other arrangements for international orders.

All sales taxes are applied to shipping locations of Alabama, Mississippi and Texas per regulating authority.  County and city taxes are applied to shipping locations with Mobile county or city limits of Mobile.  If you have a direct pay permit (corporations), please indicate in the "note to us" section of your order.  Certificates must be faxed and on file prior to shipment.

Return Policy-

All merchandise must be authorized prior to return. No returns will be accepted without a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER on the outside of the box. no refunds will be made after 30 days of purchase. To obtain an RA number please call 1-251-660-9999 and have your invoice # and item # ready.

Re-Stocking Policy-

If the wrong part was ordered by client:

1. A 15% restocking charge plus shipping will apply   2. The merchandise being returned must be returned within 2 weeks of the original ship date.   3. The merchandise must be unused and received in new condition and in the original packaging.

If the wrong part was shipped by AS&I:

1. The correct merchandise will be shipped at once. 2. Full credit will be issued upon return of incorrect merchandise.

Payment:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, checks and of course CASH.  Purchase orders are accepted with prior approved credit.  To open an account with us, we will need a full credit application completed.  You can click here to download one.  If you have your credit information and all information requested on our credit application already in other form, please sign our credit application and fax with your information to (251) 665-9991.  We will advise you of your credit status once all information is recieved and reviewed.

Warranty:

Your customer Warranty is the standard manufacturer's warranty, which is normally 1 year or more form the date of shipment. Return Authorization Number is Required. Items returned under warranty will be repaired or replaced at Alabama Scale & Instrument's discretion. The customer is responsible for shipping to Alabama Scale & Instrument, Inc., We will provide ground UPS shipping back to the customer.
